Not even time to sit downHere's briefly what happened: Sunday: Found the best house we've looked at. The condition is awesome, the price is excellent, the neighborhood is perfect (Shrewsbury - close to the city, convienent, Joel & Deanna and Carrie live there already), what else can I say? Monday: Busy, busy day - Too tired to go into detail - but the end result was a house under contract for less than they asked, plus a bunch of extra major appliances. Tuesday: Spent a lot of time talking on the phone with John and Carolyn and the mortgage broker and gathering important papers. Wednesday: Also busy as hell, see Tuesday. Thursday: Spent half the day at the broker's office getting everything set up. Work was hectic, and the evening was busy too, but at least I got to relax a little. Friday - tomorrow: Spend most of the day with the inspectors and at the title company. Start a breakneck hunt for insurance. sigh. I'm beat. And I'm supposed to have been trying to gather people for a visit to Rolla to hang out with Carl. Or trying to talk Carl into coming to St Louis. Goddamnit, who ever accused me of not procrastinating enough? So how's life, folks? Hey Katie. How's the radio station and grad school in Wisconsin been?
