A Fun Excercise.

This is like one of those 'what if' games, like, what if your house is burning, and you only have time to save one family member - who do you save? Except, this one is, "What if your house is slowly flooding, and you have to evacuate before it gets dark - what do you pack?". So, you have time to put stuff up high, and time to pack. But you have no idea how high the water will actually get. What do you take with you? Here's my list:

  1. One iBook, with sleeve and plug.
  2. One Camera.
  3. My passport and stash of cash
  4. One wallet
  5. Clothes - one pair of jeans, one pair of fisherman pants, clean underwear from the line, two t-shirts.
  6. The contents of the bathroom shelf - facial cleanser, toothbrush, retainer, moisturizer.
  7. One unopened bottle of contact solution.
  8. One towel.
  9. One bar of soap.
  10. One bag of recently purchased groceries - bread, butter, cheese, pesto salad dressing, watercress, coffee
  11. One bag of pasta salad and fruit, from the local market.
  12. One sheet. (the bottom sheet)
  13. One cat.
  14. Two motorbike helmets.
  15. One motorbike.
  16. One bag of cat food.
  17. One blue poncho.
  18. One backpack, and one large plastic bag.

Notice anything that's missing? No? Well, I'll share that, too:

  1. Case for contact lenses.
  2. Toothpaste.
  3. Clean pants.
  4. Batteries for the camera
  5. Obsolete propietary Smart Media cards for the camera.
  6. Plug adaptor for the Australian computer plug.
  7. Pyjama pants.
  8. Sedative for the cat.

So, what's on your list?
